Mrs. Carboneri's Class
Lesley Carboneri
Grade 3
Welcome to 3C!
Here you can find information you need about our class.
Our goals for this year include being independent learners and being
responsible third grade students.
HOMEWORK
Homework is assigned each night Monday to Thursday. In third grade the students have 30 minutes of written homework and 20 minutes of reading.
Homework is copied by the students each day into their assignment pads.
Students that have 100% homework for the month will earn a homework pass. Missed or incomplete homework assignments will be recorded in the homework book. Student pages of the homework book will be sent home at the end of each month to be signed and reviewed by a parent.
Homework Passes are good for one night's homework, but excludes tests, quizzes, and projects, and are good for one night of spelling homework (one box of tic tac toe.) Students do not need to make up the work covered by the pass. Use of the Homework Pass is subject to parent's approval.
TESTS
Tests need to be signed by a parent and returned to school. This is to keep parents informed of student progress. Tests will be returned to students to keep at the end of each marking period.
