A few things to keep in mind...
--All assignments will be collected at the beginning of class; if the assignment is not present and ready to be submitted at time of collection, it's considered late.
--The above statement means that any assignment not handed in at the moment of collection becomes one day late. Varying degrees of lateness (such as 1/4 day late or 1/2 day late) based on the particular number of minutes that pass between the due date and the time of submission do not exist.
--Any late assignment drops one letter grade for each school day that it is late (B+ --> C+, for example).
--Essays must be submitted both in paper format (stapled!) and electronic format (to TurnItIn.com); if both steps are not completed, the assignment is considered late.
--All potential late penalty issues can be avoided by submitting your work on time!
--If you have further questions about grading, feel free to see me.
