Class Information
PHILOSOPHY: To enable each student to communicate according to his/her ability in Spanish/Italian through the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Also, to enable each student to develop communicative and cultural competence in a language along the continuum of the learning process.
GOALS:
-to appreciate culture and beauty in the world.
-to learn how to respect people who think and act differently.
-to develop pride in work and feeling of self-worth.
-to develop skills to enter a specific work force.

Spanish 7,8: Como te Va? Text, wkbk, proficiency practice wkbk. student notebook dictionary, "La Gran Aventura de Alejandro" reader and Spanish I Review book.

Folder: 2 sections for CRT/Stamp Notes
GRADE:
Based on tests, graded assessments, quizzes, class participation, oral and written homework
OBJECTIVES:
Students will complete Spanish1/Italian 1 as directed by Northern Valley Regional High School and develop organizational skills for a meaningful transition to the high school World Language Program.
