 Second graders are "beary" special.
LLE is a brand new learning environment for us.
It will be a year of new and exciting discoveries.
Our second grade curriculum is action packed for learning about
math, reading, writing, language arts, social studies, science, health and spanish.
 Beary Good News 
We will continue with our integrated reading series Houghton Mifflin 2005.
It is a standards based program which addresses the five key areas of reading:
phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary and comprehension.
We will continue to implement our Harcourt math series.
Building friendships, showing kindness and respecting others will be part of our everyday routine.
