All supplies listed below can be ordered from Music and Arts of Paramus
by calling 201-444-0700. They can deliver any order to our school.
Deliveries are made after 3:00 PM every Tuesday.

For all beginners except drummers: Essential Elements 2000, Book 1 Make sure it's for your instrument.

Clarinet and Saxophone Reeds
The number after the brand name stands for the thickness of the reed. The thicker the reed, the better the sound. However, playing a thicker reed requires more practice and skill, so don't play a thicker reed than you can handle. Once you're comfortable on your reed, try the next half size higher. It makes sense to order a box of ten reeds when you order.

Saxophone Neckstraps
Neotek neckstraps are comfortable, durable, and a reasonable value.
Trumpets
Valve Oil: Blue Juice is the best. Al Cass is acceptable.
Tuning Slide Grease: Either Superslick tuning slide grease, or Vaseline (ask your parents).
Trombones
Slide oil (for the main slide): Cold cream works the best (ask your mom). Otherwise any brand of slide oil will do.
