Your Grade In Band If you are a Beginner, you will recieve an "A" in band if you are progressing as expected for an average student. A Beginner who is exceeding expectations will recieve and "A+"   All grades lower than "A" in Beginner Band indicate less than expected progress on your instrument. Grades for Concert Band, Jr. Winds, and Wind Ensemble are computed according to this chart , which is in your Band Handbook.
