Welcome To 4J!
August is Here!
It’s almost time for us to start our new year together. 4th grade is an exciting and wonderful grade. I can’t wait to get started!
I hope that you are enjoying your summer and have had the chance to do all the activities that you love to do.
I have been spending plenty of time with my two boys and my husband. We visited with friends and family, spent time at the beach, went to several zoos, and have spent plenty of time just playing in our backyard. I have also been busy getting our classroom together and preparing everything for our first day of school.
I hope that you are as excited as I am about our new school year. Let’s plan to work hard and have fun learning all sorts of new and exciting things.
See you in September!

Extra, Extra!!
When I was little, I always loved the excitement of getting ready for the new school year. I especially enjoyed buying all my new notebooks, pencils, crayons and much more. As you go shopping with your parents, I would like you to remember those children who may not be able to buy new school supplies for the first day of school. If you come across a great bargain, pick up a couple extra supplies. I will be collecting extra school supplies to donate to children who live in a local family shelter. Every donation, big or small, can make a big difference in a child’s life. Thank you for sharing your joy for the new school year with others.
