Landscape Painting with Acrylic Paints
8th graders had a super time using acrylic paint to make an original landscape, or remake one of the master's. We worked a lot on technique during this lesson, and the results are great!
Who I Am
To get ready for our Winter Art Show, 8th grade students took a look at themselves. Each student found a unique way to create their own self portrait. From colored tape collage to tempera paint or pencil sketch, each self portrait shows the true personality of the artist!

8th graders started out the year by drawing an Autumn still life. They layered colored pencils to create interesting tones and values.
