Landscape Painting with Acrylic Paints

8th graders had a super time using acrylic paint to make an original landscape, or remake one of the master's.  We worked a lot on technique during this lesson, and the results are great!

Heads Up!
8th graders used styrofoam bases and added strips of Plaster of Paris to create their own sculpture that's heads above the rest!  With a sense of humor, and some paint, students were able to make characters come to life in 3D!

Glass Windows

We recently studied the importance and progression of stained glass windows before creating our own with tissue paper.  Take a look at our presentation and examples!
