Week of November 16-20
Math - Students will practice exploring addition using patterns, a hundred chart, and estimating.
*Quiz Friday, November 20 - Chapter 3 Section A
Reading - The story for the week is Dancing Rainbows. Student's will focus on categorizing details from the story using cluster charts and Venn Diagrams.
Language Arts - Writer's Workshop. Students will be following the steps of the writing process to complete a personal narrative writing piece.
Social Studies - Students will focus on the Kwakiutl people. Students will identify where they lived, describe their way of life, and understand their beliefs.
*Timeline project due November 30, 2009
