I hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable summer! I can't wait for the 2010-2011 school year to start! Students starting 7th grade next school year will be introduced to the Life Science and students starting 8th grade will be taking Physical Science. Please read the descriptions below to get yourself or your student ready for next year!
Life Science: This course is designed to achieve the following important objectives to get the students ready for the CRT test:
scientific process and scientific methods
characteristics of living things
cell structure and function
classification
heredity
Physical Science: This course is designed to achieve the following important objectives to get the students ready for the NJ Ask Science test:
scientific method and scientific reasoning
chemistry, including laws, chemical reactions, periodic table, etc.
physics, including energy, motion and forces, astronomy, etc.
