How to Solve Your Problems in Math
1. Read your notes. Class notes and examples are given so that you can refer to them when you “get stuck” or “forget”.
2. Read the textbook. Although the textbook is not used often in class, it is a great reference. If you do not understand something look it up in the textbook.
3. Try the website. Your textbook has a website associated with it. Use it!
4. After trying all of the above, come for extra help.
How to Study for a Test
1. Redo several of the problems from each section in the textbook.
2. Do the chapter review and chapter test at the end of each chapter
3. Use the online self-check quizzes.
4. Practice, practice, practice!
