Homework and Tests
Spelling - Spelling tests are given each Friday. Spelling homework should be completed in the spelling notebook, which is sent home on Mondays and is due back in school on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. The spelling assignments to be completed are glued in the front of each student's spelling notebook.
Math - Math tests are given at the end of each unit. Math homework is given Monday through Thursday each week.
Reading - Students are encouraged to read each night. This can include any school related reading that is required as part of their homework. It can also include being read to by a sibling or a parent. When we begin a new reading story, vocabulary will also be sent home to be reviewed. As the year goes on, the students will be keeping a reading log of the reading they complete outside of school.
